This course satisfies the CA California CCW Live-Fire Qualification requirement. Online course must be completed prior to booking the live-fire qualification.

SHOOTING COURSES

CA INITIAL CCW, CCW PREP
When you arrive at the door, it should be with your ID, and all your firearms.  Please ensure you come prepared with all your range equipment (eye and ear protection, sturdy belt and Kydex inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster), suitable range clothing (no flipflops, no Crocs, or slip-on shoes, no lowcut shirts, V-necks, tank-tops or Yoga pants). We suggest pocketed jeans. We DO NOT allow supple nylon, fabric, or supple leather holsters of any kind (unless you have a revolver) nor do we allow belly bands or Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) holsters. You MUST have a belt to ensure your holster is retained when drawing the handgun. We have Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) Kydex holsters for most common firearms and belts available for purchase if you need them. Ammunition should remain secure in your vehicle. As a reminder, there are no longer any ammunition restrictions. There is a maximum of 6 firearms you can have listed on your CCW. However, NO .223 or 5.56 or AR Pistols of any type are permittedNOTE:  We utilize an indoor range for the qualification portion. 

CCW RENEWAL COURSES
When you arrive at the door, it should be with your ID, CCW, and all your firearms.  Please ensure you come prepared with all your range equipment (eye and ear protection, sturdy belt and Kydex inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster), suitable range clothing (no flipflops, no Crocs, or slip-on shoes, no lowcut shirts, V-necks, tank-tops or Yoga pants). We suggest pocketed jeans. When you arrive at the door, it should be with your ID, CCW Permit, and all your firearms. DO NOT come in with carrying your firearm on your person. Ensure that it's in the container with the others. Ammunition should remain secure in your vehicle. Please ensure that you have all range gear and all firearms you wish to have on your CCW. As a reminder, there are no longer any ammunition restrictions. There is a maximum of 6 firearms you can have listed on your CCW. However, NO .223 or 5.56 or AR Pistols of any type are permitted. Please wear appropriate range clothing (no flipflops, no Crocs, or slip-on shoes, no lowcut shirts, V-necks, tank-tops or Yoga pants). We DO NOT allow supple nylon, fabric, or supple leather holsters of any kind (unless you have a revolver) nor do we allow belly bands or Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) holsters. Inside-the-waistband (IWB) Kydex holsters are the only permitted holsters for our classes. You MUST have a belt to ensure your holster is retained when drawing the handgun.  NOTE:  We utilize an indoor range for the qualification portion. 

COURSE OF FIRE

  1. You will be required to fire your firearm in the company of others and qualify with a passing score of 80% or better.
  2. Bring AT LEAST 100 ROUNDS FOR EACH FIREARM you intend to qualify with. If you do not have the required ammo, the range has it available for sale.
  3. You will be required to use the firearm's standard sights during qualifications, or holographic sights; using lasers will be prohibited for the qualification process.
  4. A 80% passing score requires satisfactory completion of the following tasks 3 tasks:
    1. Starting from the 15-yard line from a "holstered" position, you will empty a magazine with 6 rounds (or cylinder) at your target. WHEN DIRECTED, you will reload and move forward to the 10 yard line.
    2. At the 10-yard line and starting from the "holstered" position, you will empty a full magazine (or cylinder) at your target. WHEN DIRECTED, you will reload and move forward to the 5 yard line.
    3. At the 5-yard line and starting from the "holstered" position, you will empty a full magazine (or cylinder) at your target, firing four shots to the body and two to the head until all ammunition is expended, after which you will clear and show a safe gun.
  5. FAILURE to bring all required equipment (firearms, ammo, belt, holsters & range gear), or failure to pass the weapons inspection, qualify with a passing score of 80% or better, or any unsafe range violation will result in the non-issuance of the CCW course completion certificate.
  6. This course is all inclusive (includes classroom, range fee, target, qualification and Certificate of Completion)  DOES NOT INCLUDE AMMUNITION, or any range safety gear.

Registration and Cancellation

A $50.00 NON-REFUNDABLE registration deposit must be made online. There are no refunds for this class. Due to the nature of the class, attendance is limited. Due to the high demand for this course and a minimum and maximum number of students required to hold this course, once booked, there will be no refund if you are unable to attend for whatever reason. Of course, there are some exceptions that will be considered.
