Riverside CCW Training is proud to offer a Pistol Red Dot Sight (RDS) Course. With continually emerging technology, red dot sights are the future of gun fighting, not only in law enforcement and military service, but very desirable to those who conceal carry. This course is presented by a California POST Range Master in multiple disciplines, including Red Dot, Patrol Rifle, and Less Lethal Munitions.
During our 4-hour course, we will discuss RDS sights available on the market, including information on durability and reliability, mounting options, maintenance and more. During the course, students will be instructed on how to prep, install, and zero the RDS. You will use the RDS to its capabilities, to include zeroing, malfunction clearing, sight picture, natural point of aim, follow-up, holster consideration, use of back-up iron sights (BUIS), firearm manipulation with mounted optic, dealing with parallax, alternate aiming techniques, and more.
