There's no better way to ring in the New Year than making a resolution to protect yourself and your loved ones. That's right! With crime on the rise everywhere, it's time you realized that law enforcement cannot be everywhere. They're needed when they're needed. So what do you do?
If you're a resident of Riverside County, you can apply for a Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. Our Sheriff, Sheriff Chad Bianco, is a proactive, Second Amendment supporting sheriff who believes the county's citizens should be able to protect themselves. He knows that due to the size of the county and miles upon miles of remote area, there are not enough deputies to be able to cover the county effectively at any time. For this reason, he wants to be able to issue CCW Permits to those responsible gun owners with good moral character who can pass a comprehensive background check.
What this means is that it's easier to be able to obtain a CCW Permit in Riverside County than it's ever been. Wait times have been drastically reduced due to a fully staffed CCW Unit.
On January 22, 2022, we are hosting a Multi-State CCW Course at Saddle Sore Saloon and Eatery in Norco, California. Which will meet and exceed the requirements of the State of California, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and the requirements set forth by the States of Arizona and Utah for non-resident CCW issuance. With this course and the approval of each agency, you'll be able to legally carry a concealed firearm in 36 states to include California, Arizona, Nevada (border states most traveled to), Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, and with some restrictions, Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming. NOTE: This permit DOES NOT allow you to board any public passenger airline with a concealed firearm. However, you may DECLARE a firearm and check it in as long as you comply with all the requirements of the TSA and laws of the state. Check with your airline BEFORE declaring a firearm to ensure you are in compliance with the laws.
What makes this class the one to attend? For starters, we are buying everyone lunch (from a select menu). That's right! Everyone who signs up for the Multi-State CCW Course will have their lunch paid for. Of course, that's all fine and dandy, but one of the most important reasons for taking this class is that you'll get the straight scoop. While other instructors will try to teach you things they learned on YouTube, we'll teach you the reality behind a use of force shooting. We'll show you what happens to your body when you're met with a potentially life-threatening situation, and it is not all peaches and cream. It's reality, and it's the truth. We'll talk to you about how to overcome some of those obstacles and teach you how to think clearly about what to do. Time is of the essence, and you may not be prepared. We'll impart some tips to get you thinking about your responsibilities, your demeanor, and your actions, all the while you're carrying a loaded firearm on your hip. We won't sugar coat it either.
Lastly, we'll have professionals on hand to speak to you about potential liability and certain legal issues. We'll have the California Highway Patrol there to speak to you about how to conduct yourself should you be pulled over while carrying a concealed firearm, what to do, and what NOT to do.
We are confident that you'll get more out of our class than you will at any other class in the county. Come see why we are the premiere CCW training provider and why so many have chosen us and have a bite on us. Sign up as soon as possible. This class will be at capacity soon!
