Course Description

This course satisfies the CA California CCW Live-Fire Qualification requirement. Online course must be completed prior to booking the live-fire qualification.  NOTE:  Many individuals coming in for Live-Fire Qualifications are not prepared and DO NOT PASS the qualification.  We will work with you if you are within the passing score to improve your shooting but we WILL NOT pass you just because you signed up and paid for the qualification.  Ensure that you can hit the target at 45' in the scoring area.  Many have not been able to hit the paper at that distance.  Practice BEFORE you sign up.  Have your optic zeroed if you have one.  We WILL NOT set your equipment up for you if you arrive with it not working or zeroed.  Renewals.  There is no excuse for you failing your qualification.

You should be prepared to answer questions on the online class that you took.  We ask these questions to ensure that you actually spent the 8 or 16 hours you are required to watching it.  If you arrive and cannot tell us what you remembered about the course, you will not proceed to qualification.  You will have to gain access to the course again (at no charge) and review it.  Don't say you took the class when all you did it hit play and walk away until that section was completed.  YOU MUST watch it in it's entirety.  It's for your own good.

CA NON-RESIDENT /RESIDENT INITIAL CCW QUALIFICATION AND RENEWAL QUALIFICATION
When you arrive at the door, it should be with your ID, and all your firearms.  Please ensure you come prepared with all your range equipment (eye and ear protection, sturdy belt and Kydex inside-the-waistband (IWB) holster), suitable range clothing (no flipflops, no Crocs, or slip-on shoes, no lowcut shirts, V-necks, tank-tops or Yoga pants). We suggest pocketed jeans. We DO NOT allow supple nylon, fabric, or supple leather holsters of any kind (unless you have a revolver) nor do we allow belly bands or Outside-the-Waistband (OWB) holsters. You MUST have a belt to ensure your holster is retained when drawing the handgun. We have Inside-the-Waistband (IWB) Kydex holsters for most common firearms and belts available for purchase if you need them. Ammunition should remain secure in your vehicle. As a reminder, there are no longer any ammunition restrictions. There is a maximum of 6 firearms you can have listed on your CCW. However, NO .223 or 5.56 or AR Pistols of any type are permittedNOTE:  We utilize an indoor range for the qualification portion.  Red Dot Sight (RDS) or holographic sights are permitted for the qualifications as well as CCW carry.
